Who We Are

Melissa, the proprietor of Chic Interiors Tavistock.

You will find our pocket sized shop in the heart of Devon in the beautiful picturesque town of Tavistock.

I personally proudly currently have twenty seven years of experience and expertise combined with a wealth of knowledge to share with you when it comes to beautiful bespoke soft furnishings.

You may have been familiar with my fathers business which was Tavy Textiles, the big fabric centre that was renowned for its wonderful selection of fabrics. I learned so much from my father Colin – sale skills, knowledge on interiors and running my own business.

My confidence and humorous quips all stem from my father Colin.

My mother was a proud dress maker and passionate about fabrics which I proudly continue that tradition today.

At Chic Interiors I work with an amazing team who are all local based who very fortunately followed me over from Tavy Textiles. I am very grateful and blessed to have such a wonderful and highly skilled team to work with on a daily basis.
